This policy explains what information we collect through powersouth305.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to messages you send us through it.
If you are or become our patient, your health information is protected by federal law (HIPAA) and is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices. That notice explains how we may use and share your medical information and your rights over it. Where this policy and the Notice of Privacy Practices differ about your health information, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.
In this policy, "Power South Chiropractic," "we," "us" and "our" mean Power South Corp, which operates clinics in Fort Lauderdale and North Miami Beach, Florida.
Information you give us
You only share personal information with us if you choose to contact us or book an appointment.
Contact form. Our contact form does not send or store anything on this website. When you press Send, it opens your own email app with your name, mobile number, email address, preferred location, topic and message filled in. If you choose to send that email, it reaches us as a regular email at powersouth305@gmail.com.
Online booking. Appointments booked through our website are handled by PatientPop (part of Tebra), our scheduling provider. The information you enter there is collected by PatientPop and shared with us so we can schedule your visit. PatientPop's own privacy policy also applies when you use its booking pages.
Phone calls and text messages. If you call or text us at 305-440-0724, we receive your phone number and anything you tell us or send us. This includes photos of your insurance card and your date of birth if you use our text-to-verify insurance service.
Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
Please be careful with sensitive details
Regular email and text messages are not encrypted. They can be read or intercepted on the way to us. When you text us a photo of your insurance card, or email or text us about an injury, you accept that risk.
If you would rather not send personal or health details that way, call us at 305-440-0724 or bring your insurance card to your appointment. Please don't use the contact form to describe your medical condition in detail. A short note such as "neck pain after a car accident" is enough, and we will go over the rest privately.
Information collected automatically
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
A few things happen automatically when you visit:
- Server and security logs. Our website host and its security provider, Cloudflare, record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
- One security cookie. Cloudflare sets a short-lived cookie (
__cf_bm) that helps tell real visitors apart from automated bots. It expires within 30 minutes and is not used for advertising or tracking. - Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- respond to your questions and requests
- schedule, confirm and manage your appointments
- verify your insurance coverage when you ask us to
- provide care, if you become a patient
- keep our website working and secure
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations
Text messages
If you text us, we may text you back about your question, your insurance verification or your appointment. We will not send you marketing texts unless you have agreed to receive them. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us. Message and data rates may apply.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We share information only:
- With service providers who help us run our practice and this website, such as our scheduling provider, website host and email provider. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- With your insurer, when you ask us to verify your coverage.
- With your authorization, for example with an attorney or claims adjuster handling your accident claim.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our patients, our staff or others.
- If our practice changes ownership, as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections.
Patient health information is shared only as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
How long we keep information
We keep website inquiries only as long as we need them to respond to you and to meet our legal and business obligations. Patient records are kept for the periods Florida law requires.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we receive. No website, email or text system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as Florida and federal law require.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information from your website inquiries we hold, to correct it, or to delete it, unless we need to keep it for legal or patient-care reasons. To make a request, call or text 305-440-0724 or email powersouth305@gmail.com.

Children
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them online. Care for minors is arranged in person with a parent or legal guardian.

Our site links to other services, including PatientPop for booking, Google Maps for directions and Instagram. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
