Cupping
Decompression for dense, tight tissue.
Suction lifts the tissue instead of pressing into it — useful for backs, traps and legs that feel packed tight after training or long weeks.
Types of cupping
Dry Cupping
Suction alone, used to improve circulation and relieve pain.
Wet Cupping
Suction combined with a small controlled extraction at the treated site.
Fire Cupping
Heat is used to create the suction, giving a deeper tissue effect.
Benefits
Pain relief, improved circulation and faster healing, stress reduction, detoxification and immune support.
Conditions it helps
Back, neck and shoulder pain, headaches and migraines, and stress and fatigue.
Questions people ask
Does it hurt?
You feel a strong pulling sensation rather than pressure. Tell your practitioner and the suction is adjusted.
What about the marks?
Circular marks are normal and typically last 3 to 7 days. They are not bruises from impact and they fade on their own.
How often?
It depends on what we are treating. Cupping is usually combined with adjustment or soft-tissue work rather than used alone.
